Ideas for Change

PROJECT MANAGEMENT WITH A SPARK

Evaluation and Measuring Impact

“Not everything that counts can be counted, not everything that can be counted counts.”

One of the keys to a good evaluation is having a clear idea of what difference or changes  you expected the project or service to make and then work out the best way of finding out if this change has taken place and what the outcomes and impact have been.  I offer a range of evaluation services as follows:-

Scoping an evaluation and producing evaluation briefs

It is often useful to have an independent person helping to scope out in detail the products and services you would like to evaluate.

Undertake evaluations

I will work with you, your partners, stakeholders and customers and beneficiaries to develop an evaluation methodology that suits your needs best. For most enterprise, business and skills projects a mix of techniques is required to truly understand the impact a project or service has made.  This could include both quantitative surveys and qualitative surveys to build story boards and case studies.

Impact Measurement Framework

I can work with you to develop a meaningful impact methodology, to understand and measure the direct and indirect difference your project is making.

“Measuring the impact of our work is a critical factor in our organisation's development. The structure of the evaluation and knowing where to place the emphasis on fieldwork were key elements. Sanjee took the time to listen to our needs and then delivered a first class piece of work. Her assessment of potential areas for development have proved invaluable.”
